LP87702-Q1: Inquiry about OVERSHOOT of 5VBST

Part Number: LP87702-Q1
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: LP8770Q1EVM

Tool/software:

We are testing the circuit design using LP87702DRHBRQ1.
The maximum voltage of SW_BST, which is the SW part of 5VBST, as indicated in the datasheet is 6V. We confirmed it to be 5.6V using a snubber in our product. However, this is in a no-load state, and we confirmed that it increases to 7V when a 100mA load is connected to 5VBST. We tried changing the snubber and inductor to reduce the overshoot, but we could not confirm that it was less than 6V at 100mA in any case.

In addition, the datasheet of the EVM of the product, LP8770Q1EVM, states that it was measured at 5V at 100mA, but when we obtained the EVM and measured it, it showed the same level of results as our product.

Therefore, I would like to ask you how to control the output voltage of SW_BST of LP87702DRHBRQ1 to less than 5.5V at 100mA.

Since the content includes our circuit design, etc., I would like to ask the question privately.

Thank you.
