BQ40Z80: RSOC after Shutdown Wake-up

Part Number: BQ40Z80

Tool/software:

Hello team!

We can see that after a partial charge, the RSOC is 34% and the True Rem Q = 400 mAh. Then, when we switch off (shutdown command) the GG and run the stratup several days later, the RSOC = 64% and the True Rem Q = 738 mAh.

What are the parameters for saving the RSOC and TrueRemQ during shutdown and recovering them on start-up?

Regards,

Loïc

  • Hi Loic,

Typically, the gauge will go through a full reset when exiting shutdown to enter normal mode. Is there any observable current on the Pack line when the device is in shutdown?

Also, would you happen to have any data from before and after the gauge entered shutdown? This could help us find why the RSOC is changing so drastically.

    Regards,
