TPS22811: Pin10 = DNC. Is that a recommendation or a rule?

The datasheet for the TPS22811 lists Pin10 as DNC = "Do not connect anything to this pin".

Is this just a strange wording for No-Connect, or would something actually bad happen if I connected Pin10 to the Pin6 OUT net?

Hi Nathan,

I will have to check this with the designer of this part. If the pad is floating internally, then there will be no issue but if the pad is connected internally to some signal, then it will be NC pin.

I will get back to you after confirming this.

Hi Nathan,

I have checked this. Please do not connect the output with this pin. This pad is not floating and is internally linked to some blocks. Connecting output may result in damage to those blocks.
