TL1963A: output fall down

Part Number: TL1963A

Tool/software:

this TL1963A  is appled for wearable OLED display, when we OTP the OLED screen, the TL1963A  support a 6V  Votage.,and my Vin is 8V, you can get my Circuit schematic as below link

Now I have three questions:

1. then I turn on the circuit, the Vin will be pulldown to 4V during 20ms,some of the TL1963A can hold the Vout At 6V, and some will falldown together,I  want to know what is the ability of TL1963A, to stabilize voltage, and What is the maximum output load that TL1963A can deliver

2.What methods can I have to distinguish between them?

3.what is the root cause of the difference?

the picture you can refer to.

  • Hi,

I am unable to see the attached documents. Could you please not attach as web links and instead just attach the documents themselves? Or upload as image/file?

    Thank You

  • the picture as below

  • 1. The output voltage may remain close to 6V only due to charge stored in the output capacitor and if it doesn't discharge adequately during the 20 ms. The ability of TL1963A to stabilize voltage is given in the load and line transient plots and table in the data sheet. The maximum load is 1.5A with the current limit for protection against short circuit/ current surges close to 2.75A.

    2. I'm sorry I didn't quite understand this question. Could you please rephrase?

    3. That is difficult to ascertain. Could you please tell what was the sample size of TL1963As tested and how many exhibited the behavior where output voltage did not droop? Were they different boards or same boards with devices swapped out?
