TPS55289: Communication issue of TPS55289

Tool/software:

Hi Team

Customer is using TPS55289 but there is a communication issue.  the Mode pin is pull-down to Gnd, the controller is MSPM0L.

after first start-up, the controller will try to build communication  and there is no ack from TPS55289. They shutdown the input and re-start it, found TPS55289 will acknowledge the communication request.

they tested the EN/UVLO voltage is normal. Could you help give your insight next step we can do to address issue?

    Thank you for reaching out. May I know what is the customer and application here?

    Please check VCC pin voltage to see if IC is enabled.

    Does customer use the right address 75H when mode is low?

    What does 'TPS55289 will acknowledge the communication request.' mean?

    Could you please help provide zoom in waveform of the first byte?

    Please help provide schematic so that I can check if there is design problem.
