BQ40Z80: Difference between Device Sleep Mode and In System Sleep Mode

Hello,

We have designed a BMS with 6s configuration. Each cell can charge maximum up to 4.2 V resulting overall BAT voltage to 25.2 V. When we fully charge battery packs and leave them for several days (without connecting to any load) we have observed that battery pack voltage gets reduced. To overcome this problem, we are planning to use SLEEP mode functionality of BQ40Z80. 

There are two SLEEP mode configurations mentioned in TRM: Device Sleep mode and In System Sleep mode. Could you let us know the difference between the two and which sleep mode would better suit our application and requirement?
