Hi Team,

In my design, I have used BQ24193 in order to charge the Battery capaciity of 3.7V, 13400 mAH 1s4P with 5V,2A as a input. Could you please validate desgin as per my input. Here we have used Battery charges as narrow input as well as battery input.

Also could you please advise on the TS1 and TS2 resistor setting.

Additionally to drive the solenoid we have used DRV8210PDSGR, Kindly review the same. Solenoid specifications 6, 600mA rating

Hi Srini,

Please see my comments below regarding BQ24193 part of the design. Once our discussions on BQ24193 are complete I can transfer the thread to the DRV8210P expert to review. If you wish for faster review of DRV8210P portion of design please create a sperate thread specifically asking about this part.

-You appear to be missing the required 47nF capacitor from BTST to SW node (SW1 & SW2 pins). Additionally diode marked D7 connecting REGN to BTST should be removed.

-TI recommendation is to connect 1uF capacitor at VBUS and all remaining input capacitance at PMID.

-TS1 and TS2 connection appears correct. Further details on resistor setting can be found in datasheet section 8.3.3.4.1. If you are using the recommended 103AT-2 thermistor or a similar NTC the resistor values in your current schematic will set temperature range to approx. 0C to 60C with T2 ~=10C and T3 ~=45C.

All other aspects of the BQ24193 schematic look good. I do not see any clear issues.
