Tool/software:
Hello,
I am in the process of creating a training kit to train on measuring the PDN of a PCB physically, and one of things I want to do is turn on/off decoupling from being connected to a power rail and see the effect on the power rail impedance in frequency domain. I was thinking about using your TPS22991 connected in series with the decoupling capacitor and power, so i would be able to turn on/off decoupling. However i am not aware of how much inductance the switch adds to the decoupling, I'm planning on using them with 0402 capacitors which means the SRF of the capacitor will probably shift if i add another component in series, however i would like to know what is the expect frequency for it to shift at.
Therefore can answer these two questions:
1- will the TPS22991 help with my application? if not can you recommend a better alternative
2- can you provide me with inductance the switch would add?
Thank you kindly
