LP8865Z-Q1: Feasibility of running multiple LEDs using the driver

Part Number: LP8865Z-Q1

Tool/software:

Hi,
I am using this LED driver in an application where 2 LEDs are connected in series to the output of the driver and two such branches are there, as shown in the image. Only one of the branches are powered ON at a time so that the power consumed is within the range of the driver.

As in the image this branch switches ON after receiving a positive potential at SW Pin. As the driver can detect open circuit, my concern here is, Can the delay in getting an out at SW pin be more than the delay in detection of open circuit? And can this condition lead to non-starting of the circuit?
