Hi all,

If the power limit function is not used,

should the PROG be connected to the VREF 47 kΩ resistor as described in the data sheet? How should the PROG be handled?

Hi all,

The reason I asked is because you commented that "off is not recommended" in the thread below.

Why is it not recommended? If it is not used, I think it can be done by adding Vref=47 kΩ as shown below.

Hello Ryusuke,

Yes, you can do it. By connecting VREF to PROG, you are basically setting the PLIM very high which is same as disabled.

PLIM is used to operate the power MOSFET within its SOA limit.

Any reason you are not using the PLIM feature?

I don't see any reason not to use Plim.

My customer uses this e-Fuse between battery and charger. Intended for inrush current suppression protection.
