TPS7H4003-SEP: External Sync Questions

Hello,

When using the external sync on the TPS7H4003-SEP:

1)  If an external reference clock is not available within 20uS and the regulator switches to internal clocking, will the regulator switch to an external reference if it is applied afterwards?

2)  If the regulator is running in external reference mode and the reference stops, will the regulator switch back to internal clocking mode?

    Hi Todd,

    If the external clock signal provided to the TPS7H4003-SEP is not detected for 20µs, the device will switch to the internal clock set by the RT pin.

    Similarly, if the device is switching based off the internal clock set by the RT pin, and an external clock is detected, the device will switch to the external clock signal.
