Hi, TI team.

In TRM SLUUB04 6.5.1, Current Taper Window and Min Taper Charge are used in the explanation as known DF values.

However, I cannot find them in TRM or other related documents. I also could not find them in BQSTUDIO's SMBUS register or DF list.

Please provide the following information: class, subclass, subclass id, offset, data type, unit, min value, max value, default value, and description.

Hello Hitoshi,

After discussing with the team, these 2 parameters are hidden and they should not be changed to ensure proper detection of Valid Charge Termination. It is much more important changing Charging Voltage, Taper Current, and Taper Voltage to match your battery specifications.

They are not visible in BQSTUDIO, but they are actually present on the gauge, right?

I have already set the appropriate values for the taper current and taper voltage.

Please let me know the actual values of Min Taper Charge and Current Taper Window to specifically understand the conditions of TRM 6.5.1 correctly. I think this time and capacity are very important.

Just in case : I am not aiming to change the DF value. I would like to know the constant value determined by TI.

That is correct. Yes, I can share with you what the values are for those parameters.

Current Taper Window is 40 seconds

Min Taper Charge is 25 mAh
