TPS23861: Power output

Part Number: TPS23861

Tool/software:

TI expert, good morning!
The problem we are currently encountering is that after the four-port POE network card is connected to the lower camera device, the TPS23861 probability cannot normally output POE power to the network card. Among them, the POE chip is TPS23861, which adopts automatic mode and 802.3at protocol, and the timing measurement is consistent with the specification. If critical waveforms are needed, we can supplement them.
Could you please leave a working email? We would like to send you the schematic for further analysis.
The project schedule is urgent and we are in urgent need of your technical support. Thank you very much!

  • Hi Hank,

I have requested a friendship with you. Once you accept please send me a direct message and I can support you through email.

    Couple quick questions to consider:

    1. Do you have I2C interface to the PSE? This will expedite debug.

    2. Waveforms will be needed if we do not have I2C access.

    3. Does your power supply support enough power to power all ports at 30W?

    4. What PD device is on the network card, what power level? Is it class 4 or below?

    5. Do you have a block diagram for the test condition you are facing the failure with?

    Regards,

    Brandon
