Tool/software:
I am writing to seek your assistance in resolving an issue with the BQ25622 battery charger IC. I am attempting to charge a single-cell Li-Ion battery using this IC, but the CC charging current is significantly lower than expected, resulting in prolonged charging times.
The desired charging current is at least VBAT=2.5A, but the current appears to be limited to around 1.0A. I have verified that the input power supply can provide up to 5V/3A.
Furthermore, the charging status transitions frequently between CC and CV, and the conditions governing these transitions are unclear.
I have disabled the temperature-based limiting function, so I assume it is not the cause of the current limitation.
I would greatly appreciate your guidance on how to increase the CC charging current for the BQ25622 IC. Any configuration settings, techniques, or expertise you can share would be immensely valuable.
Thank you for considering my request. I look forward to your prompt response.
