What are the factors which are been taken care into into chemistry files. Can I change parameters in it as my company manufactures own Li-ion cells, so that I can achieve better accuracy.

The chemistry information in the gauge is not editable. You can follow the procedure in slua372 to take data and try to match up your cell to an existing ID. If there is no match, you will need to send a few cell samples and a datasheet to TI so we can characterize your cell and make a new ID for you.
Thanks Chase for your reply.
1. Can you tell me where I can find threshold values in Data flash parameters in Bq20z95.(e.g OCD 1st tier dsg has threshold value of 20A). Actually one of application require high current dsg protections.
2. How File-> Export & Special Export differ.
Deepak,
The thresholds for these parameters can be found in the Technical Reference Manual (http://focus.ti.com/general/docs/lit/getliterature.tsp?literatureNumber=sluu264a&fileType=pdf). For example, the OC (1st tier) Dsg threshold that you mentioned is found under Detailed Description on page 108.
File -> Export will export all of the DF including the calibration related parameters. Special Export will export all of the DF, except the calibration parameters will be set to the defaults.

Hi Jason,
Below you can see snapshot of my Data flash
But as soon as I changed AFE OC DSG from 0x12 to 0x17, some of values get automatically changed.
Rsns= 10mohm.
It happens in some of the boards, while others are fine.
I don't know why it happens. Kindly help.
Regards
Deepak,
All of those changed parameters correspond to the default settings. It might be possible that the displayed values are the defaults but the values in the gauge haven't actually changed. Try reading all dataflash values again and see if they are still changed from what you had them.

Jason
Hi Jason,
I just wanted to know why it happens.Otherwise it can be corrected by rewriting the values.
Help in below issues also:
1. Is there any specific reason that RSVD bit get set in PF flags or its an internal bug only.
2. I used 3s_6P pack, but in this case cell balancing is not effectively taking place. I have set Min/cell Dev= 1750. This is constant I think or I have to change it.
