Hi,
In the LMR51450 EVB, there's preparation for D1 (Diodes Inc 1N5819HW-7-F, Diode, Schottky, 40 V, 1 A, SOD-123) from GND to the SW node, but it is not assembled.
Do you have any app notes / recommendations / guidelines to designs in which D1 should be populated? I could not find anything on the LMR514x0 datasheet.
How is using D1 improving the buck's performance?
What should be the diode's specifications?
General information is useful, but I am asking specifically about design around LMR51440.
