LM25011: SW Spike

Part Number: LM25011

Tool/software:

The customer made a CC/CV circuit using LM25011 to charge 4 strings of batteries, with an input of 35V and an output of around 18V, CC500mA.

However, there have been some defective LM25011 products installed on the customer's production line, most of which are due to a decrease in impedance between the SW pin and GND, as follows:

Additionally, the customer have detected a spike voltage exceeding the spec when the SW pin is conducting during normal operation.

Could you comment if this spike voltage can cause damage to the IC? If it is, do you have any suggestions?
