Note from customer:

I was wondering if you guys could help me with some firmware support for the TI TPS274C65 chip I could run with an Arduino Uno I’m currently using.

I’m looking for something in C/C++/C# that will just allow me to control the switch. The current sense features on the chip seem really interesting, if that is included on the firmware that would be nice to have.

Is there example code we can use here? Customer wants HW GPIO control to control the HSS - but EVM is only SPI-controlled.

Note that software links on EVM webpage are broken.

Disregard comment on EVM webpage links. Must have been on my side - though I tried twice and got 404 error. But they are working now - maybe temporary outage on my side.

While we do not have any explicit code examples for this device that would work on Arduino, we do have a generic C header file that translates the SPI register address, names, and bitfield definitions:

We have tested this header file on a variety of different MCUs (both TI and otherwise) and no issues supporting.

In addition to this, we do offer the TPS274C65USBEVM which comes complete with a pre-programmed MCU and simple GUI that can be used to completely program:
