We need a BQ20Z655DBT-R1 but they are no longer being made. We can use a BQ40Z50-R2 but we need to know when you stopped making BQ20Z655DBT-R1. Please give me the date and any documents you have to prove this.

BQ20z655DBT-R1 is still being made and you can order the devices with direct PO or through authorized disty. If you need more information, like a TRM or Datasheet, we can have your local sales rep provide that to you.

No EOL announcement was given for BQ20z655DBT-R1 by Texas Instruments.

We need confirmation. We were told that BQ20z655DBT-R1 was obsolete and we can not find it on your website. Please provide all information you have and links to BQ20z655DBT-R1 so we can share this with our clients?

Hi James,

The device has moved to restricted status, meaning it is no longer available on ti.com. It is still available for purchase through direct PO and authorized distributor. I can assure you that is still an active device in our system.

Any notice of EOL that did not come directly from Texas Instruments is not valid.
