Hi TIer
My customer's application is to have two-part batteries, one inside the machine and one outside the machine.
The external battery can be either 220V mains or some battery packs can be connected in parallel.
So for the master, he will see more than one gauge.
When connecting an external battery pack, the customer wants to count the remaining capacity. However, the external battery may be found to charge the internal battery.
As a result, the remaining capacity of the internally charged battery cannot be accurately read from the fuel gauge.
So the customer has designed their own algorithm to estimate the remaining capacity of the entire charge and discharge battery pack, depending on the value of the "average current" register of the charge gauge.
In this case, the average current register needs to be updated faster and accurately. In practice, the customer found that the average current register takes about 30 seconds to update, so do we have a way to increase the average current register update frequency?
What better way to detect the total capacity of this multiple battery pack? (Some battery packs are charging, some are discharging).
Thank you very much.
