BQ25723: Issues reading ADCVSYSVBAT register

Using the BQ25723 in a 2S charging design. Reading the ADCVSYSVBAT register (0x2D/2C) results in a reading of reg_0x2C = 22102 (0x5656) REG_ADC_VSYS_VBAT or 0x56*64mV = 5400mV, for these two voltages. Measuring the BQ25723 pins: VSYS and SRN show their values to be closer to 8.3V, the value for a 2S type battery pack. 

Is there some other setting that needs to be applied to get these voltages to read back properly? For reference, the other registers are set to these values:
