Tool/software:
Hi, I read pretty much all of the post regarding the programming of the BQ40Z80 on a custom board, but none actually refers to a guide for a production programming.
I would like to confirm that I understand correctly before buying some adapters. Here is what I understand do far.
For the hardware, we have to use the MKS-SAI-001 adapter.
Can't I just use a generic USB to I2C device?
For the software, I need my BQ_GOLDEN.fs file or the BQ_GOLDEN.srec file.
Then I could use a precompiled command line tool to flash the configuration file into the chip. That precompiled tool could be "ProgBQFS.exe" that is supplied in the BQ-BMS-PROGRAMMER-SW SDK( BQ-BATTERY-PROGRAMMER-SW Software development kit (SDK) | TI.com) Is that the good software to use or should I write my own using the Python API?
Am I missing something, or this is the right way?
Best regards,
Karl
