LP5860: Max VIO_EN current

Page 7 of the datasheet indicates that the maximum input current on V_VIO is I_VIO=5 uA. This is stated under "Inteface Idle" test conditions.

What is the maximum current required for when the SPI bus is active? I assume this will scale with the speed used, so let's assume worst case is 12 MHz SPI.

Actually, we don't have such spec for the maximum current when interface is busy. Can I know why do you want this spec?

Because the customer is asking for it.

I assume this is just powering the input level translator, so likely minimal. Any guidance you can provide would be helpful.

Hi Steve,

As you know the spec on EC table are verified by ATE, so I can't give you such a data verified since we don't have this spec on EC table. But maybe I can test on bench to offer you a data for reference. But please note that it's not universal because I don't have a large number of tests.

They need to know this current consumption so they can properly power it. I assume it doesn't increase dramatically with the interface is being used, so just a basic verification/approximate value is probably sufficient if it's not dramatically large.

Hi Steve,

Sorry for the late reply due the sick leave before and thanks for your patience. Actually, the current from VIO will ramp up during my test process and the maximum current of I_VIO is about 100uA. But normally, it's just about 5uA. Please noted that it's just a reference data.
