They are considering BQ78350-R1A and BQ76940, could it possible to use?

bq78350 is a CEDV gauge, which is a good algorithm for some applications but has limitations if discharge conditions (load, temperature etc.) change significantly between discharges.

The bq40z80 is a single chip gauge + protector with a more advanced algorithm. It's likely a better choice for most applications and a 6s4p battery pack.

Hi Dominik,

I introduced BQ40Z80 to the customer.

They were looking for 16cell serial x (6series x 4parallel).

In this case, total voltage is around 384VDC, is it possible to use BQ40Z80?

The customer said that it might not be possible.

If yes, could you please share the reference information.

If no could you please introduce the other device?
