The request for the CE/EU Declaration of Conformity has been pending since March. T.I previously confirmed they apply the CE mark to the product.
I explained again in June that when the manufacturer applies CE, they have the legal obligation to draw the CE/EU Declaration of Conformity to justify the CE mark and Mouser USA, as the importer to the EU has the obligation to hold a copy of the CE/EU Declaration of Conformity in their records.
These obligations are explained in all the CE Directives, including the ROHS Directive.
Since March, T.I has further supplied to Mouser and we have still not received the CE/EU Declaration of Conformity.
Last time we exchanged, Christopher Lim1 had brought this issue with your team to see what could be done and I have not heard back from you (Exchange trail HERE). Please advise status.
I must re-iterate the concern: it is a breach of CE compliance for a manufacturer to apply CE to a product without the CE/EU Declaration of Conformity, and as an importer to the EU, Mouser relies on the manufacturer to meet its own CE compliance requirement.
