LM51571-Q1: LM51571-Q1 SPICE model is not functional

Part Number: LM51571-Q1
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: LM5157, LM5155

Tool/software:

Dear IT team,

I am trying to run electrical simulation using this model LM5157_TRANS.LIB, however, all the time that I am intending to use the library on SIMETRIX I obtain "LM5157_TRANS.LIB (370): ...

*** ERROR *** Missing nodes", it's a little strange because the library is showed as installed and the symbol was created automatically.

Could you please provide a functional model?

A. Herrera

  • Hello Arnulfo,

Thanks for using the e2e forum.
The LM5157 transient model available on our TI product page is still encrypted.
It is not possible to transfer the model to a simulator other than PSpice.

If you are interested in using the model in SIMETRIX, you would need to use the unencrypted model. This is handed out to customers under NDA.
If your company has an active NDA with TI, please get in contact with your local field or sales contact and we will provide you the unencrypted model.

Other models from the same product family (e.g. LM5155) are already available unencrypted on the product page without any NDA requirements, but if you are interested specifically in the LM5157, I am afraid there is no other possibility to speed up the process.

    Best regards,
    Niklas
