Hi,

From the d/s I read the part is actually doing analog dimming with the PWM input signal, but not the real PWM dimming (meaning the LED string current keeps constant but dimmed by PWM chopping

Is this true?

If that is true, do you also have parts that have a real PWM dimming?

Hi Arief,

Yes, this part is doing analog dimming. So do you only need pure PWM dimming device with 2 channels? May you let me know like the VIN range, VOUT and LED current? Thanks

Hi Patrick,

Thanks for your feedback. The customer question is only whether it is analog or PWM dimming.

I just thought if we have parts that comparable with TPS61163A but with PWM dimming, i could pitch it to the customer.
