Hello! The BQ28Z610-R1 SOC I am currently debugging displays the battery power. The customer requires 3.2V to display 0%. During the actual test, when it reached 3.2V, the battery display jumped directly from 9% to 0%. Please tell me how to set it up so that the display can slowly reach 9%-8%-7%-6%-5%-4%-3%-2%-1%-0%? Thank you very much!

Hello,

It looks like the learning cycle was not successfully completed (Update Status is not equal to 0x0e). Please ensure you have successfully completed the learning cycle for the gauge to obtain accurate resistance and Qmax values. You can refer to this document for help on achieving the successful learning cycle.

Hello Jonny,

The learning cycle confirms that 0x0e has been learned. When making mass production files, the Update Status said it needs to be modified to 02.

Hello,

The termination voltage for this battery is 2.5V. So 3.2V is too high for the gauge to recognize it as 0% SoC, and could likely be on a flat region of the curve. I would suggest decreasing your termination voltage to 3.0V and increasing the reserve capacity a bit.
