LP5912-EP: Maximum Output Capacitance

Hi,

I notice the datasheet for this part stipulates a maximum output capacitance of 10uF.  Is this the max. value of the output capacitor connected directly on the output, or the maximum capacitance of all loads connected to the output?

    Hi Robin,

    I see you listed LP5912-EP, our Enhanced Product, but you shared an image from LP5912, our commercial version of the device and I assume you are using LP5912. In regards to your question, the rating is for the  maximum capacitance of all loads connected to the output including the output capacitor. It should be noted that most capacitors do tend to derate by about half its rated value over time, so keep that into consideration when implementing this device into your application.
