Hi ti team,
What is the current of the operating quiescent current (PFM mode)?I didn't find it in the Datasheet.

Hi Switch,
The current of the operating quiescent current (PFM mode) depends on inductance, Vin and Vout you set. That why we don't put such a spec.
We estimate it should be tens of uA in normal condition.
Thanks,
Colin
Hi Switch,
Yeah I have checked, the input curent on EVM with no loading is 22uA which is close to your test result.
The reason is the fb resistor would consume some current, in my calculation current flow to fb resisor reahced to 17uA.
To reduce input current at no load, i suggest increase fb upper and bottom resistors to reduce current leakage.
Thanks,
Colin
Hi Collin,
My client increased the feedback resistor, but the test result is still around 22uA. Could you recommend a group of resistors to me? If the TPS629210 cannot meet the IQ; PFM less than 10uA, is there any other Buck to recommend?
Hi Switch,
To realize IQ less than 10uA in no load, please try to change upper fb resistor to 480kohm, bottom fb resistor to 120kohm.
AT the same time, change inductor to 1uH.
Thanks,
Colin
