I have designed a circuit for a 5V power supply using the TPS562209 IC. I have attached the schematic design below for your reference. However, I am encountering an issue where the circuit heats up and experiences a short circuit when power is supplied.

I am currently unable to identify the cause of these problems and would greatly appreciate your assistance in troubleshooting and resolving the issue.

The schematic is OK. Please check if the IC is soldered in right direction.

Hi Shipeng,

Everything is ok but, we have purchased the components from a local market, and I am wondering if any variations in these components might be affecting the performance of the IC. Could you advise if such variations could impact the circuit's operation, or if there are specific checks I should perform?

Hi Ratan,

You can measure the body diode by multimeter from GND to SW and from SW to VIN, to check if they exists. And could you show me the layout to check if it's correct?
