Hi all,

I would like to ask the question about Vout_ovp.

I think the pressure value of NiMH battery is usually 1.5~1.6V,

but the voltage value of this device to detect end of charge is 1.7V(typ), which is higher than usual.

Is there any reason why it is higher than usual?

The value of 1.7V / cell was recommended by battery manufacture we were working with.

BQ25172 is a timer-based charger, this is the planned end of charge detection. Vout_ovp will stop charge but also but not preferred.
