I have observed that during the short circuit testing with MCB, the 8 Dmos( Q20, Q22, Q24, Q26, Q28, Q29, Q34, Q36) Vgs are not Discharging properly, we are discharging Dmos Vgs through Pmos (Q31 Rdson 5 ohm) with a series resistor of 10ohm / 0ohm.
We have tested the circuit with a control short circuit test with a resistive load of 55A, we have set the parameter of the Short circuit = 60A trigger while performing the controlled short circuit with 120A(resistive load), it is working fine but when we do the same test with the MCB, the Vgs is not getting lower to the zero in the mean time it takes up to 1.5-2ms.
Also, when we repeat the test with the 7-Cmos & 7-Dmos, the board works fine with this configuration, but when we switch to the 8-Cmos & 8-Dmos configuration, it shows the same problem in all the BMS.
Are we missing something or do we need any additional circuits to discharge the gate properly between 20us to 40us?
