TPS2410: Cin Cout requirement

Hi Team,

My customer wants to reduce the capacitance on the input and output sides. So I want to know the input and output capacitance requirements of the device? Can you please advise on recommended values? Thanks.

Hi Hailing,

You can keep CIN as 0.1uF. COUT depends on customer use case. There is no set value for this. Although minimum I would say to keep 10x CIN

Pls check the Cin Cout requirement in the datasheet. How to define the minimum output capacitor for the TPS2410 loop stability?

Hi Hailing,

This is recommended if the customer plans to use the controller at low load. For high load, using low COUT is not a problem.
