Assuming that in the battery management system, after pressing the power button, the MCU activates the AFE BQ76942 and completes initialization, and then the communication between the MCU and AFE suddenly disconnects. Is there any way to put AFE-BQ76942 into shutdown mode?
I noticed that there is a parameter called “Power: Shutdown: Auto Shutdown Time” in the AFE register. Could this parameter achieve the above function? Could you please explain this situation in detail and provide solutions?
