Dear Sir/Madam
We have been working on BMS design based on BQ79616 chip. I have recently requested sample source code for BQ79616 and you have provided that. I have noticed that there exists some additional registers for different DIE revisions ( Revision B0 ). Datasheet section 9.5.4.2.3 (DIE_ID1 through DIE_ID9 ) reads Revision information. I have included one of these registers shown as below ( quoted from B0_reg.h source file )

#define BQ79616_CURRENT_MID 0x5D7
#define BQ79616_CURRENT_LO 0x5D8
But looking at the datasheet , these registers does not populate in the register map.
Please clarify this issue and explain how can we be sure that we will be ordering chips with correct DIE revision ?
