I initiated the learning cycle process using the BQ40z80 integrated circuit, referring to the SLUA848 document. I followed the steps precisely, but the UpdateStatus and Ra table updates did not occur in the final step. The steps I followed are as follows:
- Determined the ChemID using GPCTOOL.
- Defined the ChemID using BQStudio.
- Manually set UpdateStatus to 0x00. Performed a RESET after setting GAUGE_EN. All flags were observed correctly, and UpdateStatus transitioned to 0x04.
- Performed discharge at C/2 rate.
- Relaxed for 5 hours.
- Charged at C/2 rate.
- Relaxed for 2 hours (Qmax update occurred, and UpdateStatus updated to 0x05).
- Performed discharge at C/5 rate (Ra table was not updated).
- Relaxed for 5 hours (UpdateStatus remained at 0x05 and did not transition to 0x06).
