Tool/software:
The LM5116 was used to design a power source circuit to control the flashing of a high intensity AWL (Abiation Warning Light).
Design concept :
- Input : 40 ~ 52V
- output : Max = 40V/10A , Min = 25V/0.1A
The LM5116 schematic is shown below.
The circuit appears to be functioning normally.
But, the high-side synchronous MOSFET and low-side synchronous MOSFET intermittently burn out after prolonged aging.
For reference, the MOSFETs used are shown below.
* High-side MOSFET : TI / CSD19533Q5A
* Low-side MOSFET : Infineon / BSC070N10NS3 G
