LM5116: high-side MOSFET and low-side MOSFET intermittently burn out

Part Number: LM5116
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: CSD19533Q5A

Tool/software:

The LM5116 was used to design a power source circuit to control the flashing of a high intensity AWL (Abiation Warning Light).

Design concept :

   - Input : 40 ~ 52V

   - output :  Max = 40V/10A  , Min = 25V/0.1A

The LM5116 schematic is shown below.

The circuit appears to be functioning normally.

But, the high-side synchronous MOSFET and low-side synchronous MOSFET intermittently burn out after prolonged aging.

For reference, the MOSFETs used are shown below.

* High-side MOSFET : TI / CSD19533Q5A

* Low-side MOSFET : Infineon / BSC070N10NS3 G
