BQ35100: Pins VIN and VEN left floating

Part Number: BQ35100

Tool/software:

Hello TI-Team,

I want to use the BQ35100 in a single cell application and I wanted to ask if you could help me with my design.

I have pretty much the same setup from the typical application of the datasheet

The Battery has a 3.6V cell voltage and is connected to the BAT pin.
The supply voltage is 3.3V and is supplied from a DC/DC-converter.

Would this setup work with the described voltages or did I miss something?

Since I have no need for the VIN pin, can I leave it floating or should I connect a pull-down resistor to the pin?

Same for the VEN pin. Can it be left floating or should I connect a pull-down resistor to the pin? I don't need an external voltage divider since my battery voltage is below 4.5V right?

Thank you in advance.

best regards,

Max
