I have gone several cycles of DSG/relax/CHG,  learning status remains at 04.

    I see that the GPCCHEM tool was used to chose a chemID for this device. Can you please confirm that the chosen ID has an error less than 3% detailed in the report given from the tool?

    Looking into the log file, I see that there is no data for the initial discharge, which makes it slightly difficult to check all of the things that could be happening, however there seems to be two OCV measurements being taken in the correct spots, but the Qmax is being invalidated for one of the reasons listed below:

    Can you please confirm the orientation of cells being used for this application? I see the DA Config is set for 1S.

    ==>18650GA / ID: 5167, ID error have less than 3%.

    The project has been successfully used many times (04->05->06->0e). This time it was re-run because the customer requested to join GPCBRB.

  • Hi Mulin,

    The learning cycle does not need to be completed if the GPCRB tool has been used. The GPCRB creates the same values that the learning cycle does, along with updating the Rb table for low temperature optimization.

    Thanks for your reply, customers require us to do GPCB.

    I wanted to confirm the process with you.

    1. Parameter settings is OK, Choose the default chem ID 5167 (error less than 3%).

    2. At Ta:25C, I have completed the golden learning(04->05->06-0e).

    3. Update Status: 0e.

         At Ta:25C/-20C, the GPC tool contains the following four files and upload to TI’s website
       • config.txt
       • roomtemp.csv
       • lowtemp.csv
       • gg.csv

    4. I acn get TI report (gg_out.csv / chemdat12_ID5167).

    5. Does "Program from GPCRB file" and choose chemdat12_ID5167. 

       Only update CHEMID not load gg_out.csv.

    6. Re-golden learning, at Ta:25C, (04->05->06-0e).

    Please correct me if there are any mistakes in the above steps.

    The steps above seem to be correct. Regarding step 6, I do not believe there is a need to do this again unless there are observable issues with the gauge when ran in application. Has any testing been done with the current configuration and has the performance been accurate?

    Regarding step 5, After loading chemdat12_ID5167, do I need to load the gg_out.csv.

    Are there any difference between gg.csv and gg_out.csv.
