We marked HVSSOP in the 1st page but the last few pages marked as VSSOP.

Want to make sure the package info is correct.

This is the one that is listed in the datasheet and confirmed to be the correct package.

Hi Tim,

Based on other datasheet with package info, it seems that VSSOP and HVSSOP has different board layout recommendation.

That's why we're confused about the definition and which package info we should refer to.

Based on that, could you help us to consult with package team and documentation team?

I am double checking with our packaging team to to confirm there were no changes- and if there were, that they are compatible with each other.

Hi Tim,

I check other datasheet(LDO/Buck....) with the same HVSSOP package description, they all mark the VSSOP in the package info.

So....I'm confused about this part...

Maybe they are compatible as you mentioned but customer argue that the description in the datasheet 1st page is different from the package info in the last few pages....

Please help to confirm:

1. Whether VSSOP and HVSSOP are compatible?

2. Whether we will update the package info in the datasheet, change from VSSOP to HVSSOP?

Evan,

The only thing I can guarantee is that is if the customer uses the landing pattern in the TPS1H200A-Q1 datasheet, that the TPS1H200A-Q1 would work. Package, AT sites, and bond wires can vary slightly across devices and product family- so just because one device has a similar sounding name would not indicate that the landing pattern will be identical.
