A quick Q.

Can the Sense Terminal of TPS3808E exceed the Vdd; for example

if the Vdd is say 3.3 V; can the Sense terminal withstand 5V?

Hi Varun,

Thanks for your question!

Sense pin and VDD pin can be connected to different supply sources. Please make sure the VDD and Vsense pin voltages are not exceeding the recommended operating conditions, which is 6V.

If you are planning to use the adjustable variant, you will need a resistor divider before connecting 5V rail to Sense terminal.
