Dear Nick Richards,
I have checked the EMSHUT bit in Operation Status B and confirmed that it never sets to 1. My apologies for the delayed response in the previous post.

Hi Ramana,
Looking back at the previous thread, I believe the issue is with the bit configuration:
This seems to be the current config for bit 17, going from SEL2 to SEL1 to SEL0.
In the TRM description, the order of bits is reversed from SEL0 to SEL1 to SEL2:
SEL2 should be set while SEL0 should be cleared. Sorry for the confusion.

Hello Sir,
Thank you for your previous assistance. I'm now able to successfully execute the SHUTDOWN command using BQ Studio.
However, I've encountered an issue with pin 17, which is currently connected to a switch intended to trigger the shutdown. Despite pressing the switch, the shutdown function is not activating.
I've checked for voltage across the switch but found nothing.
Best regards,
Ramana
Hi Ramana,
Can you please confirm that there is a high to low transition being seen at Pin 17 when the switch is pressed with a debounce delay of roughly 1s?
Regards,
Anthony
Hi Ramana,
Is the gauge at a normal state at this point? I believe the pin at this time should be producing a high signal that is pulled down by the push button.
Regards,
Anthony
