  • Hi Rick,

What USB-PD protocols does the TPS25751 support?

    Protocols:

    PD2.0, PD3.0  Y

    QC2.0, QC3.0 - Qualcomm Quick Charge   N

FCP - Huawei Fast Charge   N

SCP - Huawei Super Charge   N

AFC - Samsung Fast Charge   N

*the TPS25751 does support PPS, and Samsung Products will be able to enter super fast charging with PPS.

    VFCP - Vivo IQ00 Fast Charge   N

SFCF - Spreadtrum Fast Charge    N

VOOC - OPPO Fast Charge   N

    Others?

    Also Dual Role Data    Y

Unfortunately, we do not have any USB-C PD devices that support those protocols.

    Thanks and Regards,

    Chris

  • Chris,

Thank you for your prompt and complete answer.

Can you suggest PPS chip(s) to work with the 25751?

I have DC input voltage to work with.

    Rick

  • Hi Rick,

The TPS25751 is currently only capable of supporting PPS with these battery charger parts.

These parts cover different use cases. I would recommend creating a separate thread asking about part selection from these options for your system, as I'm not an expert in the battery charger parts.

    Thanks and Regards,

    Chris
