TPS259824OEVM: TPS259824 Imon accurate question at low current

Hi Sir,

I would like to inquire about the Imon question related to TPS259824. Why the Imon report from the TPS259824 is inaccurate at low currents?

We currently have a case using the UCD9090ARGZR+TPS259824 solution.

The Imon pin of TPS259824 is connected to a 820 ohm res to GND and also connected to the MON pin of UCD9090ARGZR

We have found that the error in Imon increase gradually when the current is less than 1.5A.

I would like to add the measrued Imon voltage values as shown in the table below.

Why does the report Imon(V) error of the Iout curve from 1.8A to 0A exceed 4%?

Hi Tung Shih Chung,

I apologies for delayed response.

This device is not designed for very low current applications in mind so due to PVT variations, the accuracy is worse at lower currents.
