About TPS659112　CLK32OUT pin　Frequency　32.1kHz

Hi

 

Thank you many help for us.

 

I have some question about RTC Clock out pin.

 

Now we connected to RTC Clock by external OSC 32.768kHz, and I checked CLK32OUT pin, but frequency is 32.1kHz, And I checked OSC32OUT pin is 32.76Khz.

 

CLK32OUT only , little low frequency as 32.1kHz.

 

I have question about CLK32OU pin low RTC frequency.

Dose we need Resister Address setting for CLK32OUT control ?

 

We want output same frequency (RTC 32.76kHz)  for CLK32OUT.

 

Could you give me something help?

    There is no setting required for CLK32KOUT pin. 

    Default setting for TPS659112 will have RC enabled. So, no need to use an external OSC for the clock. In your case it seems that there are two clock sources active at the same time which is not good. Can you use internal RC clock and check, you will get some error as internal RCis not very accurate. If you want to use OSC then you will have to change the 32K selection in DEVCTRL_REG[CK32K_CTRL]=0.
