TPS82085: Alternate Part with 12V input

Can you please list all the required conditions? Iout, FSW, etc. Are we planning to stick with module or is converter a possibility?

Hi Calan,

We are changing ADC from P/N:ADC12D1800 to ADC12DL1500/ADC12DL2500 new part

For NEW ADC with reference to ADC12DL3200EVM board schematics, we are planning to use similar part for TPS82085SILT(as per reference design) with input voltage of 12V to 2.2V output (main supply is 12V in our circuit)

For old ADC switching regulator Iout is 6A and FSW is 1MHz and LDO Iout is 3A, for reference board ADC12DL3200EVM schematics Switching regulator Iout is 3A and FSW is 2.4MHz and LDO Iout is 2A.

please find the below power details for new ADC

Thanks for the information. To confirm, you are looking for a Buck Module that supports 6A Iout, 1Mhz FSW, 12vin to 2.2Vout. Is this correct? Please correct me where I am wrong, and I will find a device for you.

I have a couple devices that can meet these requirements (these are converters):

• TPS546E25
• TPS54KB20

These are our newest devices. Please let me know if either of these work. If not, I can list more devices.

Are we aligned on the device conditions? These devices should be able to meet the conditions I listed.

Thanks for the suggestion but those are bigger packages, instead of that we are planning to use old IC for ADC input as shown below, request you to suggest those new regulators are ok to use(like efficiency, noise etc) for new ADC

Maybe I am not understanding. So the devices I listed would work if they were smaller package size correct?

I am able to recommend similar devices to the ones I listed, but with smaller package. I can look for these devices and list them. Is this what you are requesting?

So for example, I can look for similar devices to TPS54KB20 and TPS546E25 but with a smaller package size. Is this correct? How small of a package are we looking for? Any dimensions?
