BQ41Z50: When will these parts be available for purchase?

BQ41Z50: Need update on production availability, plus now need to know about sample availability too

I asked about availability a few weeks ago (see related question), but the answer at that time was:

I need something more definitive for availability dates, because we have nearly completed our evaluation using BQ41Z50EVM, and will soon want to order 10-20 prototypes of a design based on this part.

1. What is the expected date to be able to order BQ41Z50 chips from ti.com?

2. What is the expected date to be able to order BQ41Z50 chips from resellers like Mouser/Digikey/etc.

3. What do I need to do in order to procur 25 BQ41Z50 chip samples in the meantime?

    Hi Kevin,

    Thank you for your interest in BQ41z50.

    BQ41z50 units will be available on ti.com on August 31st. 

    I cannot speak for Mouser and Digikey on availability. You will have to speak to someone from those companies. I do highly recommend using ti.com as your distributor, as we have highest priority on material availability. 

    We do not have any ICs at this time, so we please ask that you wait until our restock on August 31st.
