Hi,

Datasheet mentioned

" TI recommends a feedforward capacitor CFF in parallel with R1 to improve the load transient performance and reduce the output ripple voltage in PSM. The recommended value for CFF is 120 pF."

If we chossing TPS62A06"A", is it still need CFF capacitor?

Hi Jeff,

A Cff is still recommended, but optional, to improve the load transient performance.

Hi Chris,

Since our daily used part is 100pF, is the value okay?

Or still suggest using 120pF?

That should be fine. And you can measure the ideal Cff with this app note: https://www.ti.com/lit/an/slva289b/slva289b.pdf

And the Cff should be adjusted when adjusting the FB resistors: https://www.ti.com/lit/an/slyt469/slyt469.pdf
