BQ27Z746: ESD testing

Part Number: BQ27Z746

Tool/software:

Hello,

We have a battery using BQ27Z746.

After conducting ESD testing on the battery (touching 4K),

BQ Studio was used to read the battery information.

The abnormal display showed a current of -2918mA, a temperature of 41 ℃, and the chip was overheating,

But when we power off the chip and then turn it back on, the current and temperature return to normal, and the chip didn't heat up anymore.

What could be the reason for this, The attachment is a schematic diagram. Please help review if there is a need for improvement. Thank you.
